Recycling of wind turbines components is performed by AGIX in the framework of the projects. This happens when some wind turbines are sold for spare components and not reused as a set. In many cases, the recycling scope is limited to cutting the steel tower sections and processing them into new materials. All recycling operations are executed with regard for the environment and respect to HSE regulations.
